Pilot body ??

Recommended Posts

Somebody knows if LN has stated something about this ? They say that Mig-21 will get the pilot body at some stage.. but it never happened.. And I'm a bit worried after seeing the cockpit screenshots of the Viggen without the body..

I ask this because for me the lack of the pilot body is an immersion killer.. specially in VR.

Coming for both the Viggen and MiG-21. Probably Viggen first as the pilot is almost completely done-- and then we'll sculpt one for the MiG. :)

extremely good news! also a new pilot body for the 21 from external view? :-)

maybe you can post some pics of it?

He was not, Such a badass!

That's a fine and 3 points! Shocking.

Back on topic..

As a rift user this is excellent news, thanks Cobra.:)

Sounds good!

Slightly siding off the topic... I wonder if anyone would ever be building up a pilot body, with a kneeboard on the G-suit... that way you could - say - look at the map without the damn obstructive virtual kneeboard in view...

Just sayin' :D

That means Mig21 1st person pilot body is not yet started, right?

Well, the Viggen is.

Of course but there is a post regarding the pilot body of the mig 21 in the HB simulations section of the forum.

This might be naive of me but a pilot body is a basic feature I expect from every module. The A-10C gets a pass because it's about 100 years old and ED are adding one with the cockpit refresh.

Any word on this? It's a pretty shitty experience flying bodyless in VR.

Have they said that??

If so, nice, I’ve been looking forward to an internal pilot body for a about 4 decades for the A-10C

You've got me there, I can't find a thread.

I wonder if Wags said it on a stream or something...I really hope I didn't make it up.

Has the pilot body been added to the Viggen yet?

I've checked YouTube. Maybe it's coincidence, but in all videos I've watched, none of them showed a VR body

November 2016, post 2 of this thread, Cobra said the pilot body was near complete

I kinda decided not to purchase any more modules without a pilot body, as it is too much of an immersion killer for me to sit in an empty cockpit while seeing myself in a mirror..... So if this feature is added to the Viggen, that might cause me to go and buy it.. Having strong doubts between the M2000 (that does have a pilot body) and the Viggen

Yes, it's been added recently. I think right now it's only available on open beta.

That's great

Can you tell something about the quality?

Are we talking M2000 type of quality, or is is more like what we currently have in the Hornet?
