F-18C 1.501+ released

Download here Version 1.501 (stable) 24-08-2019

Implementation and support of the new Targeting pod and it systems hands free off course.
You can now laser targets without holding the trigger and operate the new systems efficiently.

Every module now has better kneeboard labeling and additional scroll options.
The F-18C Cougar and Hotas profiles have now TGP support for all the digital display indicators with its own category.

For the F-14B it is also possible now to let Jester AI fire your missile instead of holding the trigger yourself if you choose to do so.
I strongly recommend updating the 01 , 02 , 03 folders with the controls, profiles and sound folder for your Voiceattack/x86/sounds

Good that you are doing this - the more people using voice commands the more hopefully devs will consider including them in new games/modules (I hope!).

I started using voice about 2011 with Voice Buddy from eDimensional, but have used more different progs since than I care to remember.

Nothing beats voice control - it's fantastic fun in FPS games and it adds realism in flight sims. The only thing that bugs me these days is that everyone is migrating to Voice Attack - probably from a client side because it's so cheap and a dev side because it has good functions.

For me, though, it's the worst of all the voice recognition progs. It uses the Windows API. like most of them do, but for some reason this is the only one I ever had that doesn't understand me. I've just been completely unable to get it to understand a single full sentence or command reliably since I bought it a few years ago. I've chatted with the devs of Voice Attack and others who have used it for payware add-ons and tried many things, but it just refuses to click for me.

I used dwVAC for Black Shark and A-10C when they were stand alone simulators and it worked perfectly. I'm a qualified army radio operator (got top marks in training for voice procedure as well) and have run many official amateur radio nets and don't have any strong dialects or such-like, but tbh I have now given up on Voice Attack completely. Such a shame.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Voice control Brixmis.

Had some trouble myself with Voice Attack Windows speech was not in my operating system had to do a reinstall of Windows 10 kinda sucked.
After this i had trouble with a new microphone it would not get picked up accurate by Voice Attack had to go to the speech training 3x times

Microphone volume also had to be adjusted from the default 0% to 25%+ for me.
Now its works almost flawless and much more accurate 90%+ sure it has issues but it bring lot more capabilty.

Terrible you had such issues with Voice Attack, there really should be more options to choose in speech engine not only Windows API.
Voicebot is also alternative to Voice Attack but i never tried it so i dont know how it compares.

I agree with your statement and hope for future games they include basic Voice support (much more fun xD)
even tried using Voice on my TV and it never worked like on pc could not recognize a single word or command.

Hi Dailey

Been looking at the voice vaps for dcs. Will the F15 FC3 work with SU33 etc? Also you mention daisy chaining with viacompro. Do I need to put that back to use certain aspects of your stuff?

Sorry but a little confused. And will no doubt have more questions

Cheers

Steve

For the moment that profile F-15C only works with that plane have not tested with other FC3.
Daisy chaining is not required for using Voice programming only when in combination with Vaicom pro.

hope this make sense and i understood your questions correctly.
