fael097
hi, is there a way to overwrite the graphic presets? I usually play VR, but sometimes I'm not in the mood for setting up all the VR stuff, just want a quick play, so I jump into good old tv playing, but I have to manually adjust the graphic settings all over again, and then again when I'm back in VR. is there a way to overwrite the default settings for "high" and "VR" for example? Knock-Knock
I just use two options.lua's, in my ..\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config folder. So I have a options-m.lua and options-v.lua, and if I want to us VR, I rename options-v.lua to options.lua. - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
fael097
that's good enough, thanks! but just making sure, isn't there a way to edit the presets existing in game? would be a little easier if you want to change settings on the fly Rafael Ryzen 7 1800x @ 4ghz | MSI GTX 980ti | 32gb DDR4 Ballistix 2400Mhz | Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero (wi-fi) | 480Gb Kingston NVMe ssd | Western Digital 1TB x2 | EVGA 850w PSU | Noctua NH-D14 | NZXT S240 | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | 4k 50" Philips android TV | Dell P2418D | Oculus Rift S | Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas

Wrench
Skatezilla's GUI updater utility does this. You simply select a preset, launch DCS, configure as desired, then close DCS. It simply saves the current settings as selected preset when DCS closes. Carrier Script.
