colubridae
had thus problem a while back and thought it went away... but it's back I set up an attack on a column with emavs guided by a predator afac lasing works all the way up to launching the locking and launching the EMAV. The afac (which has been cooperating flawlessly) then shouts 'Abort abort abort' and stops lasing. is there a reason for this? please help
Emmy
Was it a Type 1 or Type 2 attack where you have to call IP Inbound and get "Cleared Hot?" glen.a.williamson
When I have gotten "abort, abort, abort" in the past, it has usually been because I have not completed the entire 1. IP Inbound 2.Lasar on 3. Spot 4. In from the (whatever direction from which you are approaching the target) communication sequence. When I do all four steps, I get the message that I am "cleared hot". When I do not complete all four steps ... I get "abort, abort, abort" ... and have to start the entire sequence over again. dorianR666
maybe he is too close to target or in the direction you attack from CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX

colubridae
Are you adhering to the CAS 9-line run-in restrictions? think that may be the problem. run in on target from south worked from other directions not ok. had to request 'laser on' (as expected) response was 'lasing' I then radioed 'spot' got response 'continue' I the radioed 'in from the south' (radio option is only 'in') then got 'cleared hot' and attack was successful. thanks. I have another question though what does 'shift' mean in the radio options please
wrl11
Shift means the laser designator is shifted to another target. I have also had him call abort when I have a different weapon from what he requested or its set up wrong. 1st vAEW
DocSigma
From my experience, if you're too close to the target- just how quantitatively close is anybody's guess - when you give the "In" callback, you get the "abort, abort, abort" instead of the "cleared hot" response.
