Recommended Posts

Have you seen this?

Utilite visualise LockOn aircrafts dash-board on another monitor, or on the other computer in local network.

v.1.0.1.beta works only with LockOn 1.12a.

... I would prefer to see some editor or ready sets of real cockpit imitation for Su27, MiG29, Su25, etc. Good thing - I can at last do the same as in fs9 to shear independently pit and outside view on 2 screens but 1 pc.

Can the instruments be placed pretty much anywhere you want them? How about the TVM or the MFD? Can those be displayed as well? It almost might be worth building a pit with a TFT behind it, if the instruments can be positioned and scaled relatively easily. I can turn a sheet of .090 2024T3 into an aircraft panel in a day or two, but the software and programming stuff completely escapes my understanding.

Little bit earlier )))

I'm creator of this prog. ;)

No, MFD or TVM are not possible for now :(

But I plan to create flight-map MFD like on Su-27 or MiG-29.

Free positioning and scalling would be in next versions, soon I hope!

one question...

I photographed MiG-21 and MiG-25 pits...

Look at this (MiG-21):

How do you think, it worse to build some skin from it?

I think there is no quick need for a cockpit panel texture.

It would be more important to be able to move and scale the instruments any place and size you want, so that pit builders can put an LCD behind a wooden/plastic/metal panel.

you can fanagle it somewhat by editing the instrument texture set to try and "get" a digital look:

Awesome. I have downloaded it and will give it a try soon.

Wow ! Was this also done by using the .lua files ?

Can't we have this in TB too ?

Maybe the development can be integrated into one software.

Greetings

must say i am a little excited, virtual panel software is a great idea.

agreed, it would be great to see a release with positionable gauges for making those pit overlays and it sounds like we will see it in the near future.

will definately be trying this out myself asap.

some US style gauges will be welcomed :) maybe ruggbutt could assist with the graphic side of things, his TB panels for the us aircraft are amazing.

its cool how lockon keeps evolving

it just gets better all the time, virtual gauges panel in the middle, TB to the side, and maybe one day the tews etc.

we are getting closer people :) ,

great work Mnemonic.

but this feature is for Falcon4...

Thanks to all! ;)

And now few words about my second release (I think it be able to download for a week)

- Enhansed FPS optimisation for LockOn (no FPS looses for 2 monitor solution)

- Free-positioning and scalling system (it would be able to manipulate with all devices)

- Maybe I'l create some new gauges (if I have enough time)

P.S.

When I accomplish with all Russian-gauges I'l start to create an American-style

The point was not that it has to do with Falcon 4.0 but the fact that they have found a way to export the MFD from the system that was not possible before. The Thought is that the system may be adaptable to use with Lock on so it make work or be part of the solution to export the maverick TV or MFDs on other aircraft

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
