Congrats on an exciting buy :smartass:

Didn't buy anything as I have about half of the modules already and could maybe take some time to learn to fly a half of them. Plus a few untapped campaigns.

The really exciting stuff is the things that are currently on radar, both platform and module side...

It's a very nice little fighter, tough I found the MiG-21 far more interesting :) .. but the F-5 is a good purchase, and Wags said that eventually they hoped to give her an update :)

As a note to whomever might care, if anyone, but, mostly myself, however tempted :devil_2:, I will not purchase any DCS products in Early Access anymore. For me, personally, it's just an absolute NO-GO, for various reasons. I do understand that for many DCS customers, and for Eagle Dynamics the Early Access is a very viable and beneficial concept, however, it's just not for me.

Thank you Sir that was a pretty well reasoned and detailed post :geek: I do think the quality + platform features really matter with DCS. Out of curiosity which one is your favourite module/map/campaign so far?

Personally I just buy the stuff from RAZBAM etc and think it's great. (Been flying the Harrier recently and enjoying LMAVs... obviously I'll still give the Mig-19 a bit of time etc but I think Ka-50 is the only module where I have enough skill to be annoyed by the bugs, if they are bugs, there's a few hazy things there.) The Gazelle flies great too!

If somebody would have come to you 10-15 years back with the current DCS spec, what it does and what it models, the list of modules, how much FPS you get without issue etc you would have just told them to stop trolling and get lost :megalol:

Nothing, got too many to cope with already.

Once final I will get the F-16 and likely the Hind as I tend to fly more choppers than fixed wings.

I gave up the plan to "own & operate" them all, the list got too big meanwhile, at least for my 50+ brain
