Hammer1-1
I flew a few of the quick missions and experienced this both times while flying. Flying straight and level, I hear loud rumbling in my ears as if under high negative G forces or a really hard yawn. I can repeat this at any given time since its pretty consistent. See attached track.ears rumbling.trk Edited February 16, 2020 by Hammer1-1 Intel 13900k @ 5.8ghz | 64gb GSkill Trident Z | MSI z790 Meg ACE| Zotac RTX4090 | Asus 1000w psu | Slaw RX Viper 2 pedals | VKB Gunfighter Mk3 MCE Ultimate + STECS/ Virpil MongoosT50+ MongoosT50CM |Virpil TCS+ AH64D grip + custom AH64D TEDAC | HP Reverb G2 | Windows 11 Pro | |Samsung Odyssey G9 | Next Level Racing Flight Seat Pro My wallpaper and skins

Bearskin
I haven't flown the mustang for over a year, so when I did the Normandy free flight about 10 minutes ago and got the rumbling sound I was checking all the gauges, flaps. landing gear, so good to hear it was not my flying that caused it. XAiracobraX
This sounds like the same issue I have that I posted in the World 2.5 bug report section. I poorly labeled it. I uploaded tracks there, hopefully they look at it. Hammer1-1
can anyone else confirm this was fixed? I havent tried it yet, but will momentarily and didnt see any mention of it anywhere. Late edit: still there, but not nearly as bad. Had it happen once in a flight of about 20 minutes, lasted for 45 seconds in level flight for no obvious reason. Rebel28
No the weird sound problem is still there. Strange distorted sound lasts about 10-20 seconds then goes away only to come back later.

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 24, 2020 ED Team Share Posted February 24, 2020 Hi We are very busy with reports and have to get to the most important ones first, sorry about that. The ringing and rumble is due to a negative G, it does seem to be exaggerated in public builds, will ask the dev team about it. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Rebel28
Knowing and fixing are two different things here. They knew about the drop tank problem for 2 years before it was fixed. There are many other items that are still listed and not even mentioned anymore. They don't even list what they know the problems are or care about with this plane. Captain Orso
I don't know if this is the same phenomena, but I was fly the Mustang yesterday. I went in for a strafing run (not extremely steep or anything, and right after starting to pull out the sound when weird like I had tinnitus; like you were swimming and your ears were full of water. Everything was muffled and there was a slight ringing. The last part might have just been me through :music_whistling: When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs. Hammer1-1
I have 3 tracks here, and found another bug inadvertently doing so. In the second track, I made a very light belly landing and would have survived it easily. Counted as a death. You can easily tell just watching the track. Anyways, I have an idea when it might be caused; Ive noticed when I run full power and then stall in a climb it occasionally starts to rumble. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6f8ibbnisrua1gy/mustang%20rumble%20trk%201.trk?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ysoqsk6z6ku9ra4/mustang%20rumble%20trk%202.trk?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ntkmuct0rn2g6u/mustang%20rumble%20trk%203.trk?dl=0 Edited March 5, 2020 by Hammer1-1 Intel 13900k @ 5.8ghz | 64gb GSkill Trident Z | MSI z790 Meg ACE| Zotac RTX4090 | Asus 1000w psu | Slaw RX Viper 2 pedals | VKB Gunfighter Mk3 MCE Ultimate + STECS/ Virpil MongoosT50+ MongoosT50CM |Virpil TCS+ AH64D grip + custom AH64D TEDAC | HP Reverb G2 | Windows 11 Pro | |Samsung Odyssey G9 | Next Level Racing Flight Seat Pro My wallpaper and skins
Art-J
Apparently an insta-death the very moment Mustang's belly touches even the single grass blade or a flower is a long-standing DCS Mustang bug. We'll see if the new damage model fixes it finally. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
