Tuning and text outline to still add, but in game now.
Great.

Difficult to see here, is there nav data overlay on the moving map?

it's just hard to make out due to text outline/overlay not being finished..

There is an ATFLIR variant with NAV FLIR integrated into the pylon, so we can hope...

All ATFLIR Attachments have the NAVFLIR in them..

The Panel where the Sensor normally is was removed and replaced w/ a blank out panel.

It's rare, and mostly done on Super Hornets.

Can anyone in the know comment on what, if any performance impacts the moving map (and the tgp) will have? I currently spend a lot of time in the F-5 with decent, not excellent, framerates. Can I expect a significant hit with the Hornet running multiple sensors?

So I dont understand. Will we or will we not get the NAVFLIR once the ATFLIR is implemented?

thanks

Hard to say if the NAVFLIR will be implemented.

According to Wag, early access version of the Hornet will be like a frame work, using his words, it will gradually be fleshed up to a 2005 model of the FA-18C hornet.

Not sure the 2005 hornet has the navflir. This is also subject to ED committment to go implement all system in the Hornet variant they are looking at.

I guess we will have to keep our fingers crossed, enjoy what we will get in the early access and look forward to the sensor/weapon update as they come.

ATFLIR is not part of Early access, so no one, even w/ Press Builds, can tell you.

Yeah, looks amazing.
Why wouldn't we get Navflir?
Give them time to implement it....in the FAQ page is stated what we get for early access and what we get later during the completion of the release cicle....and has been written there for almost an year...

Okay it’s awesome we have the moving map, but I can’t turn it off. With the moving map on the MAP option should be boxed and it isn’t. When unboxed there should be no moving map. Is this a bug or was is it not implemented yet?

I would like to know how I remove the map, leaving the HSI without a map.

i am not sure it can be done on the center MFPD right now, there are some things still being worked on to allow you to change the brightness in the future.

for right now though, you can enable the HSI on the right or left DDI and it will show the HSI with no map
