Default controls folder wrong

Recommended Posts

So for some reason whenever i try save/load files, DCS is defaulting it to the saved games/missions folder

It's really annoying because I used to keep my controls at a dropbox folder, and after loading and saving from it once, it would always default there and it doesn't anymore making me have to navigate every time.

Same happens for my actual missions folder which I also keep in the dropbox.

Any clues of how to fix that?

I use Windows Hard links to have DCS folders where I want (on my case on OneDrive, your case would be DropBox), but DCS still "sees" them on their default locations, like this:

To establish a hardlink, you have to open a Command windows with admin rights, change to the proper path, end enter this command:

MKLINK /J Source-Folder Destination folder

:)

Bad thing is dcs is deafaulting the imputs folder on the saved games mission folder, it's a small thing but became annoying over time, it used to just default to the last folder I used
