Since the vote was a tie I rolled an online dice and counted from the top between the two and and it landed on IR FRAMSTEGN.

Happy with that :D

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Quality is 640p and I can not recognize anything. Is it supposed to stay like that? It almost seems like you forgot to deactivate a blur filter or something like that.

Nvm, I get it now... :music_whistling:

I was in for about 5mins, looked like some advanced QR-code, hard to read for a novice like me though.

It’s never too late to give up

Stream is over! 7 made it to the end but we where as many as 11 at one point!

Now the big question: Were you able to implement the proper IR FRAMSTEGN functionality?

Nice to see things are happening on the Viggen, but to manage expectations a bit on my end: will the Viggen be finished this year as stated at the beginning of 2019, or will finalizing of the project take a longer timeframe?

Well, they stated in October 2019 (meaning two months ago):

The Viggen is not a second rate citizen for us. Our priorities are now aligned so as to launch these remaining items without question later this year.
Our sincere apologies for it taking longer than expected!

I’ve implemented the logic but hasn’t connected it yet with DCS (key press, clicking) and also I need to check what happens if you fire all missiles and for example press the FRAMSTEGN or try to fire again. So some more work remains. Also make sure it works properly.

Sounds good, looking forward to those final steps on that issue. Thanks for all the work on the Viggen

There will always be details that doesn’t work 100% right since nothing is perfect. If you are waiting for perfect software the timeframe is ∞

One thing is för sure, there is a hell of alot of hours in a module, both before release and after. Great work guys.

It might be interesting to know that programming effort for Viggen is (my) estimate a little short of the original Quake 1, both considering codesize and man hours (programming).

Actually, i prefer the longer dev. time for the Viggen, even that it had to fall back in effort because of the F-14 for quite some time....because the end product is and will be much better compared to it being finished within 12 or 18 months and never to be touched later on except for bug fixes.

So i'd rather have all those tech. upgrades that came with the F-14 project coming to the Viggen as well instead of the Viggen finished and done earlier.

Still, having it feature complete at some point would be nice of course.

In case you another meant bug fix ... hmm ... yes :D

Giving you the floor for another dance with this little, small and humble code segment called "the beast" ...
