With some handicap, I should say: the sound is compressed a bit, otherwise it will be even louder. Even in helmet, TO sound was very close to fragment my head. The only way to save your ears is to set volume comfortable at full power. That was incredible endeavor to sit in those planes for 8 hour escort missions.
