Jetguy06
Hey guys! I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I didn't get the memo to hold off on updating to the version with the StarForce patch without first deactivating the MiG-21. I've followed the instructions in the pdf file, but nothing has worked. When I go to the module manager, and click on the DRM icon to deactivate it, I get an error that I need a valid activation code. I copy and paste my code from the ED store, and that doesn't work either. Can someone please walk me through the steps to clear this up? I've even held off updating to the most recent patch (the one released a few days ago). Thanks guys!!

Jetguy06
Thanks. That's the pdf file I was referring to. I ran the registry file, but couldn't see any effect. Am i supposed to run it like an .exe, like I did, or do I need to put it somewhere?
Automan
Don't use the registry trick or you will loose an activation. Try the deactivation outside DCS. Before start DCS: -Double-click the pcnsl.exe file, which is in "Drive letter\...DCS dir...\Mods\aircraft\MiG-21BIS\bin\pcnsl.exe”. -Select the "Activate or deactivate product" command in the displayed window and click NEXT. -In the new window, under the serial number, at center/bottom you can read a statement for deactivation, and a selectable text (in blue color), click on it and confirm deactivation. -Now, copy your serial number from your licensing page/email -Start DCS and a prompt for activation of Mig-21 will appear: just copy and activate the product again. Jetguy06
Thanks for the reply, Automan. I just tried what you suggested, but got the same error I've been getting from the start. The product could not be deactivated because of an integrity fault of the Activation Key. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, if anything.
