Macromedia Fireworks, One large coffee mug, and the pot is all ways on.

I picked up The Modern Hog Guide The A-10 Warthog Exposed By Jake Melampy for details it can't be beat.

For paint and Squadron details .I picked up both of Don Logan's books Republic's A-10 Thunderbolt II ,and War Hawgs .

My rule is if you can see it detail it the exception is if there is stretching that distorts the rivets or lines .If you have to look for it, paint it .On the decals it has to be readable more than less .

For rivets I have a 2 pound hammer i don't have to hit them as hard

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Just out of curiosity what is the favorite A-10 skin?

Sim-Mod New style skin's : Jaws and Peanut

Old style skin's : Serial Killer and Czar

Remember the 346 Fire Fighters, Medics & Police who died on 9-11.......

Selective memory is a wonderful thing, especially when certain posts simply disappear into the ether never to be seen again, unless I have a copy of the original post copied and pasted into word documents and saved .... just in case :)

Am I an abusive idiot ?

Due to physical incapacity my Wife types my post's for me

Update Wings Hi guys I have change the wings quite a bit you will notice that the rivets lines have changed . Now before you guys freak out and say some thing like Dude man what are you smoking thats totally wrong. Take a look at the attached aircraft stations diagram that shows the spars that the skin would be rivet to in real life.:smilewink: The rivets are not perfectly in line with the drawing do to the deference between the model and the lay out but its close like 15 pixel so you perfectionist should be happy

Thank you Gozr Personally i still think Mitch Jannsen's skins are incredible for the area he had to work in, the amount of detail is just unbelievable.

Here is the last major update on the template as far as lines and rivets go.

The wing rivets and lines are on 100% and will be turn down to match the rest of the skin.

Miner adjustments to some rivets and lines still need to be done.

Please make any suggestions or comments over the week end. I am starting on nose art ie the shark face warthog and razorback.

I may add some more three d rivets but i need to find the tutorial on placement for for over all ,that was on simmers paintshop just have not taken time to look for it yet
