When there is a long list of units after choosing task, the list extends far below the edge of the lower side of the screen, meaning I can not choose units below the TITLE "SEAD", and therefore also not press the "commit" button. "After you complete the mission, you should go into the slots selection screen and reload the mission again. If you don't do this DCS will not generate correct debriefing!" I'll make a video tutorial for MP since it is a very confusing thing to actually get right. Did you make this video? would be most helpful. ValueError: negative radius I'm constantly getting the same error (SP & MP), usually after I've completed 5ish or more missions. It occurs when I hit 'OKAY' after a successful mission. I didn't know the github version was updated and I kept waiting for news for months until yesterday I checked github. -First mission AI cruise altitude was 800 above sea level, but the terrain between waypoints was, sometimes, higher that that so the airplanes kept heading down and up all the time, not very realistic. -The IA bombers didn't engage the enmy tagets in the zone, they just reached the wp and returned back to base. -The map UI is very small, can't it be resized? I figured out how to restart the mission then take the debrief.log and put it into the liberation_debriefings folder and let the software update however when it imports it doesnt show anything has been destroyed. also get "operation success" player losses enemy losses with no info in it. Until then though it doesnt work for multiplayer (but will be great for it when it does), and you cant use the F-5E-3. I agree though, Liberation was a great idea and I absolutely loved it but this bug breaks the whole thing. To fix it one would only need to change one number in a line of code. LT_F4LC0N Posted May 25, 2019 Share Posted May 25, 2019 (edited) Liberation Hi guys, Oh the corrupted saves. This was really annoying me as you'd make good progress and then lose everything. Here's the checklist I've been following that seems to stop it from happening, obviously still following the initial instructions to copy the debrief file over. So, what I've been doing: Follow the instructions to move the debrief file from the logs folder to the lib_debrief folder. The main point being to go to role select after mission complete and then re-loading the mission so the debrief file is correctly generated. Once the debrief has been read by liberation the results come up with an OKAY button at the bottom, i then go back to DCS and select a different mission (anything that's not the lib next mission/quick next mission).Once that has loaded up I then go back to the liberation map and then and only then click OKAY. After it goes back to the main map, I then make a copy of my save files and the debrief so hopefully I can go back if it does end up corrupting again. Seems to be working so far so thought I'd share the voodoo magic in case it helps anyone else. Couple of questions I have for you guys. How do you share the liberation campaign map view with your buddies so they are involved more in the progress of the campaign? I know we could screen share but it's a bit of a pain. Is there anyway to change the map zoom? I see there's a X1 at the bottom but I haven't found a key/control to change that including reading through the liberation ops manual. Any help is appreciated! Edit: Just had another corrupt save after an Air Intercept mission with the F14. Managed to get through a whole day without one yesterday though. Luckily I backed up the save files and the debrief so I could re-load the campaign. Edit 2: Kept getting the corruption while trying to do the intercept mission with an F14. I had corrupt saves on other missions before but following my C/L Its only the Air Intercept missions now. Edit 3: Corrupting again with Naval Strike missions in the F14. Pass turn got it completed but still a shame. Dev, please help! This mod has made DCS so much more, worth it! Are you sure that you follow the correct procedure to get DCS to actually write debriefing in MP (https://github.com/shdwp/dcs_liberation/wiki/Manual#multiplayer)? It has to be done, otherwise debriefing will be empty. About the development, in general: I became sick of the ever decreasing VR performance, last half a year it was way too bad and finally I've completely given up on DCS, therefore mod had to be abandoned as well. I hope I'll find a couple of maintainers to rely on, since given EDs pace on fixing things I wouldn't expect VR to get better soon.
