If yes, then that would somehow point to a FW rule not being correctly set. What router/FW are you using ? Depending on your servers firewall, there are other ports involved that you need to allow OUTBOUND. That may play a role on your server, maybe not. Make sure 80 (http), 443 (https) and 5222 (xmpp) are allowed to communicate to ED's servers. All those are tcp. If you dont use any firewall on your server, than that is irrelevant to you. Q: Can you connect from the same LAN ?
