What ports have you opened, aka forwarded, to the internal server in your LAN ?

 

Can you connect to it from the same LAN ? If yes, then that would somehow point to a FW rule not being correctly set.

 

What router/FW are you using ?

That is all you need, 10308 tcp+udp.

 

Depending on your servers firewall, there are other ports involved that you need to allow OUTBOUND. That may play a role on your server, maybe not. Make sure 80 (http), 443 (https) and 5222 (xmpp) are allowed to communicate to ED's servers. All those are tcp.

If you dont use any firewall on your server, than that is irrelevant to you.

 

Q: Can you connect from the same LAN ?

Router is Shaw's BlueCurve Gateway firewall is thru McAfee as to connect via LAN not surte what you mean I am direct connected do I need to use wireless to connect for it to work> Sorry I now less than nothing about this stuff
