Bertie
Simple question. I have F-15C module that I used but don't intend to use anymore. Is it possible to deactivate it and transfer license as a gift to somone else?
MegOhm_SD
I believe it is and can be done in your ED Account. If I remember correctly, you just unbind and then bind it to the new user. You will need their login name. It then shows up in their acct. then they activate it in game. I am planning to clean out my hangar and gift all of those aircraft I never fly as well. Which are many. List includes the Hawk, that is, if anyone wants it! cichlidfan
I believe it is and can be done in your ED Account. If I remember correctly, you just unbind and then bind it to the new user. You will need their login name. It then shows up in their acct. then they activate it in game. That function has been disabled for a long time now. The only way to transfer a key is by opening a support ticket. Bertie
Yes. you need to open a support ticket. However, I didn't find anywhere if they allow gifting any module or only those that I never activated.

Dudikoff
Open a support ticket and try. I gave away my Hawk key more than a year ago this way. i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg. DISCLAIMER: My posts are still absolutely useless. Just finding excuses not to learn the F-14 (HB's Swansong?). Annoyed by my posts? Please consider donating. Once the target sum is reached, I'll be off to somewhere nice I promise not to post from. I'd buy that for a dollar!
golani79
Did that some time ago with my Standalone F15 and Su27 as I also own FC3. Just open a ticket as already mentioned here. >> DCS liveries by golani79 <<
