Tone71
With the increasing number of DCS aircraft available, as well as various other flight sims, I decided to make myself a template that could be used to show all of the keyboard mappings, for each of the buttons/dials on the Saitek X52 Pro. (It's me age see, having a hard time remembering what's what, when I move from one sim to the next :) ). The idea was to print a bunch of these and simply write in the keys/commands that I've got mapped for each of the aircraft. It's a bit rough and ready, and not very polished but it does the trick. I thought I'd share it with you guys, and hope that it helps fellow X52 users out there :joystick:. (Comments and suggestions are welcome, but may be ignored...). Enjoy. Edit: I should point out that the grey cells are for mapping the modified state, when the pinky switch is held down. Edit 2: Template updated to include missing button. Edited January 12, 2014 by Tone71 Updated template; was missing left MFD rotary push button. Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4.6GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (8GB VRAM) on 34" LG curved monitor @ 3440x1440, 32GB RAM, TrackIR 3 (with Vector Expansion), Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs. HiJack
That’s a good template . I did my own and laid out all commands myself to really learn where they were when I started the Ka-50 learning. I think setting your own stick up is the best way to learn where all the functions sits. I guess my setup is nowhere near the real assigned functions but it worked great for me. This is the COMBAT settings and I got one for normal FLIGHT and one profile for EMERGENCY but they all use the same layout.
