I dont think that that question makes any sense.

Edit: I mean, nations dont make jets, engineers do. Engineers that work for companies. Companies that can employ engineers from all around the world. And those companies usually bound by contract by limitations.

IMO, it's not who build the best aircraft, but rather which aircraft fits the needs perfectly.

And since we won't come to an agreement because of opinions, my vote goes for my favourite jet, the swiss version of the Venom. (The US and russia are not the only ones building jets.)

Boy this isn't a loaded question that's just waiting to explode into a biased crap slinging fest.

I think building a military flying machine its a very dificult thing...i am a big fun of the europeans machines maybe these are the best but my thread compares americans and russians and i just want to know your choice and why.

So, the Cessna 172 isn't a jet.

Then it must be the MiG-15!

To me, also subjectively, that seems like an excellent choice.

The MiG-21 would also be a good candidate, as would the F-16.

Modules: Bf 109, C-101, CE-II, F-5, Gazelle, Huey, Ka-50, Mi-8, MiG-15, MiG-19, MiG-21, Albatros, Viggen, Mirage 2000, Hornet, Yak-52, FC3
