kylekatarn720
I dont think that that question makes any sense. Edit: I mean, nations dont make jets, engineers do. Engineers that work for companies. Companies that can employ engineers from all around the world. And those companies usually bound by contract by limitations. razo+r
IMO, it's not who build the best aircraft, but rather which aircraft fits the needs perfectly. And since we won't come to an agreement because of opinions, my vote goes for my favourite jet, the swiss version of the Venom. (The US and russia are not the only ones building jets.) kylekatarn720
IMO, it's not who build the best aircraft, but rather which aircraft fits the needs perfectly. That is a right perspective, and lets add this, bugdet limitations can make a huge difference on a product.

Vladinsky
Before you even begin to discuss aircraft you'd need to establish what "the best" even means.

Zius
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most-produced_aircraft So, the Cessna 172 isn't a jet. Then it must be the MiG-15! To me, also subjectively, that seems like an excellent choice. The MiG-21 would also be a good candidate, as would the F-16. Modules: Bf 109, C-101, CE-II, F-5, Gazelle, Huey, Ka-50, Mi-8, MiG-15, MiG-19, MiG-21, Albatros, Viggen, Mirage 2000, Hornet, Yak-52, FC3
