Kilo
May I request the same thing for the Tunguska? I cant't hit a thing even if I lock it first, for easier tracking. Все буде добре
Rabb
Agree, those smoke too much. Malyutka is especially bad. If it were steered like it is in real life (MCLOS), there would be no hits at all.
WinterH
Actually, in certain dive angles, new smoke makes seeing target impossible in Kh-66 too now. Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script
Fercyful
thanks x replies. yes men! was trying different units (last night, ALL night...) and the smoke is REALLY in issue here. Not only you can`t see nothing at you are shooting, the FPS drops to much. I thought after all this, maybe the big smoke can be good FX while you are watching the ground from the planes but at soon you enter ground units/helicopters hell arrives. Maybe if they reduce for ground units also will be reduced for high altitudes and you can´t watch the FX from up there. mmm.... Houston we have a problem. whiteladder
If you are creating missions yourself set the 10m wind speed to 10 or 12 mps in the weather options and it will blow the smoke from your line of sight.

Thank you whiteladder! That was a really nice and clever fix :smartass: Still have hopes for some official one (specific graphic menu option for smoke handling) Until that my battlefields will have tornado-type-winds :music_whistling: :joystick:
