Svsmokey Posted February 5, 2019 Share Posted February 5, 2019 So i installed the Oculus-recommended Innatek board , and the Fresco drivers recommended for it . It has been irksome since doing so , with Oculus warnings about usb updates , and occasional requirements to re-setup the sensors . Any alternative drivers that will work ? 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tinkickef Posted February 5, 2019 Share Posted February 5, 2019 Yes it is a problem. I have the Fresco drivers and 2x innantek boards. When Oculus says the drivers are out of date, I find the ones that come with windows and install them. Unfortunately this often affects your control bindings, so what I do after rebooting the rig is find the original fresco ones again and reinstall those. Oculus is then happy for another month or so. System spec: i9 9900K, Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Ultra motherboard, 32Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200 RAM, Corsair M.2 NVMe 1Tb Boot SSD. Seagate 1Tb Hybrid mass storage SSD. ASUS RTX2080TI Dual OC, Thermaltake Flo Riing 360mm water pumper, EVGA 850G3 PSU. HP Reverb, TM Warthog, Crosswind pedals, Buttkicker Gamer 2. RT(f)M for how-to install some of them. My mb has lots of usb , integrated and remote , but i feared running out of usb power , and plan to add 3 more devices , so I installed the Innatek trying to forestall problems , and seem to have created one . I suppose i could swap keyboard , trackball , joystick and throttle to Innatek so Rift and sensors could use MB , but I'm thinking that might open another can of worms . I'll investigate drivers .
