HR-Crumble
Hi guys and gals, Can you lase a target for the 25T. If so then is it from combined arms only or from another 25t or from a KA-50? Cheers all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rinkerbuck
yes, you can lase it from the 25t's built in laser. AFAIK there is no way to use a buddy lase.

Fri13
KA-50 should be able to designate you a target with its Shkval for you to use a laser guided weapons like S-25L, Kh-25L etc (that are not beam riders), if the weapons and platforms would have been programmed for the same laser code. You should be able even to use Su-25A an Su-25T in pairs. As the Shkval is not guiding anything, it is just firing laser beam and then the laser guided weapon will by its own seeker detect and track the dot, and inform to the firing computer that it has a lock. So even if the another aircraft would be firing laser, your task would be get the weapon in range and point it at the designated target so the weapon seeker could find it and signal you the detection. You can then launch the weapon without firing laser yourself. BUT, can you do that in DCS? No.... Too limited modeling for that. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
