Hiding slots until airdrome/farp is/are captured ?

After looking at this necrothread https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114576 , I found out that it doesn't answer my following question:

 

Is there a way to make slots visible ONLY after your coalition captured the airdrome or the FARP ?

 

As of right now, the slots are already created into the table but I keep them either "late activated" or "uncontrolled". Problem is, even if I can trigger both status at a later time, players can actually jump into the slot before it is triggered (i.e. you take the slot without problem but you don't jump in the cockpit"

 

As you will see in the mission, you can choose your role right from the start, even if the airplane is in an "uncontrolled" status. As soon as the humvee gets into the airdrome capture zone, the airdrome becomes blufor and the players gets into the cockpit automatically.

 

The result I am looking for is until the airdrome turn blufor, I shall not be able to select the role at all in the "choose your role" window.

 

Any help appreciated.

 

p.s. Looked into mist/moose without success. Not sure if I used the proper words though.

You can't change the list of slots available at all unfortunately.

 

However with the server API you are able to restrict players from joining specific slots. Basically using the callback onPlayerTryChangeSlot you can check a list to see if that slot is allowed to be occupied. If not then you can prevent them from joining the slot. Check out ciribob's "Simple Slot block" script.
