Helios 1.4 - Taking to the Skys Once Again

Recommended Posts

I need help...since i am using few software that add lines to export.lua file i dont know which one is reseting my settings in export.lua file. I am using tacview, helios, virtual cockpit by igor and voice attack...every time i start the game export.lua file is changed And lines inside export.lua get deleted. does anybody else have similar provlem?

I suggest that whichever plugin still runs after the change of export.lua is the one that is doing the over-writing. As Derammo, says, the problem is not being caused by the Helios Control Center.

Please see this thread for information about Helios 1.6, which adds many new features and usability improvements:

https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4437499

The continuation of the Helios journey is 1.6 and happens at https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4437499. In addition to the obvious features in 1.6, it provides a more solid foundation for future capability. The small number of developers will be spread too thinly to support more than one release, so for this reason we will be retiring 1.4 as an active project. You're free to continue using and enjoying it, however the future is 1.6 and there are many great reasons to migrate to this release.

Any chance the helios authors could add support for this?

https://www.siminnovations.com/hardware/product/57-knobster

It's a rotary dial for touch interfaces. I use it in Xplane and it really helps make touch interfaces much easier to use. I use a 24" touch panel below my main monitors for helios in DCS and AirManager in Xplane and love the way it works.

in case the helios developers want to support the knobster, the code is here...

Hi all,
I was wondering if someone here could give me a hint as you seem to be a nice and very knowledgeable crowd 🙂
I'm looking at the UFC of the Hornet, I can extract the radio CH values, no problems. What I'd like to find is, what value is posted on the Com1/Com2Display channel when it's receiving (it displays a down pointing triangle). I've literally tried about 100 combinations, to no avail.

When the transmission stops, the CH number is posted again so there must be something else there while the triangle is present. But what?
Thanks a lot!
