Xoho
The issue seems to be back. Trying to use the 2D overlay is nearly impossible now, at least for me, since it selects 2-5+ options every time I quickly tap the key to rotate one of the rotaries. I'll try the mod shortly, but is there a way to use the mouse to interact with the overlay? It would save a lot of headaches.
Rhinozherous
UPDATE to the UPDATE. (Post #42) Not sure what's going on but default DCS is back to hypersensitive NS 430 knobs AND the mod stopped fixin it. Attached is an updated version of the mod which is working. As this is still (or again) a problem - Thank you for this fix, it works nice! i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020

unknown
As this is still (or again) a problem - Thank you for this fix, it works nice! +1 I only bought this module for my MI-8 a couple of months ago to have somthing new to play with in my favorite helicopter. I encountered the same problem and found this thread, thankfully the workaround works but it gets annoying to use a workaround which i have to apply everytime DCS gets updated. Please ED, could you please fix this problem. One click on my rotary decoder to the left or right and the NS430 jumps to the most left/right menu skipping all the menus in between them. Just tried the fix, didn't work for me. ED, this issue appears to be 3 years old. Please do tell us that this is within the hitlist of issues to be fixed. You have to copy the file into the core DCS/mods... filepath and not into the savedgames/.... filepath. After that you have to reassign your keybinds(one entry greyed out but the other is usable). Works for me in the latest OB Modules: KA-50, A-10C, FC3, UH-1H, MI-8MTV2, CA, MIG-21bis, FW-190D9, Bf-109K4, F-86F, MIG-15bis, M-2000C, SA342 Gazelle, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A-18C, F-14, C-101, FW-190A8, F-16C, F-5E, JF-17, SC, Mi-24P Hind, AH-64D Apache, Mirage F1, F-4E Phantom II System: Win 11 Pro 64bit, Ryzen 3800X, 32gb RAM DDR4-3200, PowerColor Radeon RX 6900XT Red Devil ,1 x Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe, 2 x Samsung SSD 2TB + 1TB SATA, MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals - VIRPIL T-50CM and VIRPIL MongoosT-50 Throttle - HP Reverg G2, using only the latest Open Beta, DCS settings

jonsky7
Was there any way to do this for the keyboard? So one key press is one notch. I've tried adjusting the timings in voice attack, but I can't get it to be consistent. Sometimes one press in voice attack is one notch and sometimes it's two with the exact same timing. EDIT: Never mind, I looked at @CHIC code and applied the same to the keyboard default.lua. I also made it so that there is individual bindings for scrolling as the default, and in steps which I've added. I can't see how to make it one step per click but then scroll if you hold it down, and I couldn't find any aircraft where that happens on a similar dial. So here is version 1.25 of the mod, OvGME ready GPS Rotary Encoder Fix v1.25.zip Edited February 11, 2021 by jonsky7 1
