cthulhu68
When increasing throttle it seems to have deadzones where nothing happens but then jumps up to current throttle position or drops back down 10 or 20 percent then goes back up. In the upper half of travel it will go from 50% to full throttle or if in afterburn mode easing off throttle it drops all the way down to 50%. With Helos it's impossible to raise or lower collective smoothly. Is this typical of a throttle that's had it or will taking apart and cleaning fix this? Anyone else have issues with throttle not working smoothly? I know it's a clunky primitive type of throttle but it used to work smoothly . It has a couple years of heavy use. Lensman
I had one some years ago with a similar problem. I fixed it by opening it up and tightening the spade terminals to the main pot. Hope that helps. Cheers Dave 1 Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.5GHz. Asus-Z170-PRO MB CORSAIR H105 HYDRO CPU COOLER. EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW3 Elite. 16GB DDR4 2666MHZ HYPERX SAVAGE. Ce_Zeta
Also a a brand new CH Pro Throttle jitters a bit. Some people developed filters ,added in CMC profile, to eliminate these jittes. [sIGPIC]http://i.imgur.com/YexElgV.jpg[/sIGPIC]
cthulhu68
Yep. Those 3 connectors weren't very snug. A little crimping and a dab of diaclectic grease did the trick. Now I have no excuse for my rough Huey landings. Thanks!
