Echo38
I would rather do a hurricane more famous and nicer looking don't get me wrong the p47 is a nice plane but theirs better nicer looking ones The Thunderbolt doesn't exactly have a girlish figure, it's true, but the Hurricane hardly has feminine lines, either. I think the P-47 looks better, myself. (Considering calling mine "Helga.") Edited May 25, 2017 by Echo38
Knock-Knock
Hehe, could be a thread by itself: What will you name your P-47? :) Mine will be named Vicious Vicky. - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |

Rangi
Not that I have heard. I doubt we will hear much until after the hornet is out and then only if the jug is next in line. PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor.
fastfreddie
I'd imagine current fixes/updates, Hornet, 2.5, and hopefully the new damage model are first on the plate. I'm betting we don't see this one until 2018.

I'm betting we don't see this one until 2018. None of those should effect progress on the P-47. Finishing up the Spitfire and transitioning to the P-47 has probably already been on going. HeadHunter52
I'd love to name mine "Hun Hunter", but I see there was a historical name of that type. "Hungry Hound" is my next bet, which is a play on my dad's squadron "Puking Pups." OnlyforDCS
None of those should effect progress on the P-47. Finishing up the Spitfire and transitioning to the P-47 has probably already been on going. That is very probably true Sithspawn, but ED's policy lately with regards to marketing has been to focus on what is next in line for release. Very little is usually said about other future products in the pipeline, other than that they are being worked on. Which is exactly as it should be IMO. Too much hype usually leads only to disappointment when deadlines are inevitably missed, or when projects are put on hold or priorities switched, etc. etc. etc. Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.
