WINWING F/A-18C HOTAS 2019.5.29 RELEASE

.... but why why waste all that space and switches on the "ground power" switches which pilots DO NOT USE AT ALL.

Perhaps just for keep the aesthetics of "real thing", after all players use switches in games at their own convenience. ;)

Without a separate purchasing option for the stick and throttle this will likely sell less than it could. Too many of us already have high end sticks we don't need to replace at this time.

F18 grip, while cool, is a definite downgrade for me personally and I wouldn't use it. So until the throttle is available as a single unit no thanks.

Any plan to support other existing Joystick grips such as the Warthog? You know sometimes we also want to fly the A-10c or the F-16. An simple adapter would be nice.

PC: 5800X3D/4090, 11700K/3090, 9900K/2080Ti.

Joystick bases: TMW, VPC WarBRD, MT50CM2, VKB GFII, FSSB R3L

Joystick grips: TM (Warthog, F/A-18C), Realsimulator (F-16SGRH, F-18CGRH), VKB (Kosmosima LH, MCG, MCG Pro), VPC MongoosT50-CM2

Throttles: TMW, Winwing Super Taurus, Logitech Throttle Quadrant, Realsimulator Throttle (soon)

VR: HTC Vive/Pro, Oculus Rift/Quest 2, Valve Index, Varjo Aero, https://forum.dcs.world/topic/300065-varjo-aero-general-guide-for-new-owners/

If you already have a WH could t you just switch to that when you want to brrrt?

I for one have been waiting a long time for a more expensive warthog. My only question is if this will also fry the board randomly?

Hello Winwing

Awesome!!! Of course I will buy this hotas, was looking for such a fantastic Hotas for a long time!

Do you plan more panels for the hornet? Maybe a front panel with DDIs, Master Arm and an UFC?

This WW F/A-18C grip count 25 buttons, more than Warthog 23.

I guess I missed the mini 4 way/push button on the first glance, thought it had fewer switches than the Warthog grip. It's not bad then, still not as many as the MCG Pro or T-50CM2's button but I can live with that as long as it's equivalent to the Warthog.

This black line in picture of gimbal suggest a kind of "steep" in gimbal center system - what in "pincer" gimbal system is know in cause an tactile and audible "clunk" when grip reach or cross center position.

But text in advertisement* say CAM...Is used a mix of CAM and "pincer" for center system?

* BTW - In throttle grips description says "1x brake lever".

But none lever are visible in picture - neither F-18 has "brake lever" in throttle grips.

Is this? A brake lever in throttle?

Or perhaps refer to "friction adjust lever" at right of throttle grips, being used as analog axis lever like in Warthog.

If you get a review sample to those guys I will definitely consider purchasing this. I am in the market for a new HOTAS and this looks impressive so far. But I cant make a decision based on looks alone.

Thank you! We are working on it step by step, when ready for deliver, first package will be for some one review!

I'll order if you don't screw around with wait times, dodgy "pre-orders" and restocks like any other "high end" company other there. In other words - you have it in stock, I'll pay for it, you then ship it to me next day.

I'll even send you a postcard if you manage to achieve the above :) I'll be super happy if you guys would be a real competition to these who I don't mention.

What is the weight of the throttle and stick?

We will try our best! Pre-order will not open if we found we can not deliver in time!

I'm sure it wouldn't have happened in the native Chinese version of the deck.

I care much more about the gimbal design and throw of the throttles and the feel of the buttons/triggers, and the software design.

As a non-native English speaker (I came to the US when I was 14) who had to go through English as a second language class, I have more tolerance for foreigners making typos in a language that's not native to them.

Thank you hansangb,

There will be a Launch events in Shanghai, Chinese pilot can test onsite. I will talk about more detail of the Gimbal.

Well, for throttle+throttle grips and maybe panels I might have been interested. Not paying for a high-end stick when I already have two Gunfighters.

I'll wait and hope it becomes available separately at a later time, also when it's out in the wild and proven by independent sources.

I'd be extra interested if you handle the importing and ship to me from within the EU.

Please waiting for more info about our joystick, maybe it looks normal, but it's really a perfect one!

I’m definitely interested in this, but my question is whether the stick will be able to mount to an Obutto? I suppose I’d have to build a throttle mount.

Dear Rogue, we will do our best to help this, your suggestion is very important.

But, I think you should ask Obutto!!They will listen to you then me.

I really like the idea of customizable throttle grip. And, the throttle panel just puts everything else to shame. Not that excited about the stick and secretly wished that it had extra buttons but you know what, I'm looking forward to these more than any new VR headsets. I'm in!

Thank you Supmua, more surprise will come out later. Please see my update in 1st page.

Is the antenna elevation wheel spring-loaded to center? Otherwise that throttle grip is kinda miss...

This looks amazing, will start saving now. Will want to see a review by at least one respected DCS reviewer first though ;)

However, one dealbreaker ... is the "flight ops panel" permanently attached to the throttle base or can it be removed? It's a great idea, but my eventual plans are a full cockpit and I need the throttle without the panel attached for that purpose.

Not a question about wanting it or not. I'm sure it is an excellent joystick. Unless it has force feedback or something it simply isn't enough of an upgrade for someone like me to abandon the multiple grips and sticks I already have from VKB.
