New Build

Recommended Posts

Hey Everyone,

I'm going to be upgrading my PC soon, and these are the parts I currently have in mind (I already have the PSU, case, etc. sorted):

CPU: i5-8400

Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z370M Plus II

RAM: 16GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 3200Mhz

GPU: RTX 2060 6GB

What would I expect to get out of this build at 1440p medium-high settings? Thanks for the help in advance.

I have a 1080 with 8GB in one rig, DCS uses 99% of it.

6GB is a bit tight for 1440p.

Get something with more VRAM is my best advice.

Why not a RTX-2080ti, or if cost is a big issue, a GTX-1080ti? You can get a good, used one on Ebay for $500-$600.

How do you know its good?

if the seller has a good reputation and they say it works and is in good condition, then, it works and is in good condition.

i have purchased quite a few components on ebay and they have been exactly as described every single time.

if you get a dud, just file a paypal dispute and you’ll get your money back.
