Vatikus Posted February 18, 2019 Share Posted February 18, 2019 Since non-CCM radar mode is more or less broken, I tried to see if CCM can be more reliable. To my tests it showed that CCM is broken as well. Most annoyingly in Horizontal Scan modes. In screenshot you can see how magic has locked onto target while radar could not. It eventually got lock but parameters when are very inconsistant. You can have exact same AA and Vc and sometimes it locks or doesnt. I have also noticed that as range decreases Horizontal Scan can lock targets out of HUD in vertical! 2bar should be 6deg only however it performed as Vertical scan. I don't know if it's a bug but all others aircraft don't have this problem. Maybe it's a normal situation, with 2000, we are back to 80's and maybe electronical post treatment was very long.
