upgraded to 1.2.8 and now all my warthog settings are swapped

Recommended Posts

Wow!!!

Perhaps I should have waited.

Upgraded to 1.2.8 last night ... decided to take the bird out for a ride and discovered that all my profiles got scrambled. joystick.gif

All the throttle assignments are now the joystick assignments and vise verse.

Kinda blows, cause now the bird is parked until I can verify all the profiles are configured.

****************

Got an answer: Thank you (cichlidfan)

"Waiting would not have altered the changes that ED made to the control config system."

I hope there are more changes since there are a number of things that should work better. The new Saved Profile system might make later changes less painful. At least that looks like what it is intended to do.

You might want to look at this thread just to see what others have learned about how the new setup does and does not work.

I believe the changes are towards better compatibility between patches, but of course it means this time you have to redo them.

You "believe" you are a tester and they didn't tell you about this?
