I have two 1070 cards will DCS benefit from running them in a 2 way HB SLI.

I should have said that I use VR will it make a difference there or sell both and get a 1080 TI that will improve VR thanks

Wait a month or two and buy the new GTX.

 

 

SLI isn't supported.

for VR u will have to go with single powerful card.

 

^^^This. VR, at least Oculus and Vive, do not support multiple GPUs at this time. This is not a DCS issue but a VR software issue.

I was in the same boat sort of, sold the good old 1070 and grabbed the Asus 1080ti just to have more eye candy in VR with the hornet. Never messed with twin cards and all the headache that comes with trying to get them to work and perform properly in most games. Could be better way down the track for dual cards at some point with Vulkan and better open VR standards

 

Quite the jump from the 1070;) still playing with settings. I was going to wait, just want to be setup for the hornet VR carrier landings. Plus the ti cards will be much further along once the 1180's drop possibly?
