Brigg
i have been toying with the idea of turning it off in the bios to see if it would make a difference in DCS. So my question is has anyone on ryzen done it and did or would it help?
Sandman1330
I tried it awhile ago, didn’t seem to make a difference. What I did find helps is using process lasso to force DCS onto physical cores. For some reason, DCS always went to core 11, which is a logical core. Using process lasso to prevent it from using logical cores seems to have reduced stutter. All you need to do is set the DCS profile in process lasso to use even numbered cores 0,2,4, etc, Ryzen 7 5800X3D / Asus Crosshair VI Hero X370 / Corsair H110i / Sapphire Nitro+ 6800XT / 32Gb G.Skill TridentZ 3200 / Samsung 980 Pro M.2 / Virpil Warbrd base + VFX and TM grips / Virpil CM3 Throttle / Saitek Pro Combat pedals / Reverb G2

BitMaster
someone a tutorial on how to do what is decribed here? Thanks Download ProcessLasso (PL) from bitsum.com, install it, run it, start DCS, open the PL GUI, rightclick DCS process and choose CPU Affinity to run it as Single Threaded Performance Mode. That is all. You may set this permanent or only for that session, up to you. *you have to Tab-out of DCS while it runs to set PL correctly.
