Command speed and time is displayed in KTAS in all modes although it should be in KTAS for A/A and A/G mode only, otherwise - KCAS. (A1-AV8BB-TAC-000 (1.15.6)) "The command speed display is dependent on the master mode selected. If NAV or VSTOL master mode is selected command speed is displayed in KCAS. If A/G or A/A master mode is selected command speed is displayed in KTAS. The speed is derived form the distance from aircraft present position to the steering or designated point and time remaining." Also, caret position seems to be calculated using aircraft's calibrated airspeed and required true airspeed, thus caret always indicates "we're too slow".
