DmitriKozlowsky
During startup should Helmet queing system be loaded first or after LOAD ALL?
Emmy
I’ve done it early and late in the start sequence and can’t say I’ve seen any difference. I don’t think it matters. DmitriKozlowsky
I cant say I have same experience. I have random, it seems, availability of helmet queuing system. Problem is that there is no positive feedback as to whether system is working or not.

Frederf
I've always pressed LOAD ALL only and nothing else and used the helmet fine.
SmilingBandit
I've always pressed LOAD ALL only and nothing else and used the helmet fine. Since we don't really have data cartridge functionality I don't find that surprising. It's not like we are loading our settings into the system. Frederf
You're definitely loading something. There is a data cartridge but the user/pilot has no direct control over it. The only control the user has over the DTC info is by changes in the mission planner which is only available in single player. I never checked what happens if you load nothing, what data is there that shouldn't be. In the specific case of helmet DTC data, if you loaded nothing you should have the default OFP-defined display profiles. I'm guessing the DTC profiles and OFP profiles are identical in DCS.
