Dav IRL
I put my order through in April, the money wasn't taken from my account so I got an update last week saying that I need to resubmit my transaction details. I did, reluctantly, the pedals are on the way. I am looking forward to getting them and will write a small review not them here, if they are a good product I will let people know my thoughts, I know the customer service is odd however if the company are updating stock and websites I would lean towards overlooking the messing on the basis that the product is great. Looking forward to flying the choppers with these. 4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV.
Berniyh
I did now receive my pedals, but unfortunately now I don't have time to test them for a few weeks … :( ok, at least they're here now. Still not happy with the communication though and wouldn't recommend anyone else to order in that shop for that reason.
Dav IRL
I did now receive my pedals, but unfortunately now I don't have time to test them for a few weeks … :( ok, at least they're here now. Still not happy with the communication though and wouldn't recommend anyone else to order in that shop for that reason. Mine arrived today and I must say they were sent on Monday from the Netherlands and they are here at my doorstep (Dublin) now so 100 marks for delivery time. I am in work now and not sure when I will have time to use them but it will be at some stage this weekend. I agree that it is very hard to recommend the 'shopping experience' however if the product delivers then I would be willing to forgive the experience I and from what it seems many users have had too. They look very compact and all other options look really awkward and sloppy so I stuck with wanting them. There is software to one button them on your hotas as toe breaks so I have no idea why everyone is saying its a no deal without toe brakes. I will give them a go in DCS this weekend, can't wait. I have been using the mouse nimble on the warthog throttle which is super sensitive and inaccurate for far too long now! 4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV. epitoma
They arrived today, all right, but after the wait they could have had a courtesy detail, right?
John Hargreaves
They are great pedals, especially for helicopters. I'm sure you'll be happy. Although not cheap, I think they were good value for money. i7-7700K/Gigabyte RTX2080/Win10 64bit/32Gb RAM/Asus Xonar DX+Sennheiser HD380pro headphones/LG 34" UM65 @2560x1080/TM Warthog+VKB MkIV Rudder pedals/Rift CV1

Regarding the price, they are relatively cheap. iirc, I paid like 150-160€ for the Saitek Combat Rudder pedals (the same as the Madcatz ones). Now, I paid 190€ for the VKB MK IV. I didn't test them yet, but I'm pretty sure that the actual pedal function is much much better. And definitely worth an additional 30-40€ in comparison to the mediocre Saitek pedals. And yes, the VKB pedals don't have toe brakes, but at least they are very compact. And tbh, unless you fly one of the very twitchy WWII planes, aren't toe brakes overrated anyway? :P
Mars Exulte
I managed without them, because the toe brakes on my rudder pedals never did work right :P Де вороги, знайдуться козаки їх перемогти. 5800x3d * 3090 * 64gb * Reverb G2

Dav IRL
I am pleased with the pedals, they are just so compact and effortless to use. Coming from Saitek rudder pedals (which no offence to anyone) are a huge lump of plastic, there is no comparison there. Regarding the toe brakes, I don't have a problem putting the brakes on a button on my joystick. I would prefer to set them on a higher tension which you can do but judging by the instruction video online you may need an entry level engineering diploma which means I will have to use the standard settings. I don't know why but in VR you can feel each increment on the rudder pedals in flight, 2d is missing that advantage for some reason, I can't explain it. Customer service was poor and yet the product is 'a keeper' so hopefully they work on that aspect but not a deal breaker. On a very positive note once I ordered them I had them within 5 working days, that was impressive, driver even left them with my neighbour so 10 out of 10 on delivery time. They just work and work well, you feel like using the rudder pedals as a tool of the aircraft and not some pain in the backside that never 'feels right'. The feeling reminds of going from the X52 to the Warthog some years ago and I am sure many can relate to that feeing albeit the thing isn't that light which is one thing I actually miss about the X52. They add another quality bow to your weapons collection, you won't fly without them again and they are fun to use and easy to setup. The product is steel and size and dimensions are small but pack a punch in terms of gameplay and compatibility. Overall I am thrilled with them, and regardless of the customer service would buy from VKB again, at the end of the day the mark iv's were worth the long wait, I am glad I didn't go for a large contraption from other companies and waited, patiently, very patiently. The product delivers and thats what really matters when you invest in new flight sim gear. 4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV.

You mean add tension to spring? This involve just loose some bolts and change one screw from place - to stretch spring more. Can be made only with furnished tolls and be person with minimum skills in "15 minutes". :) CAM come with "clear" center side installed, can flip then for use "soft" center (more suitable for helicopters). Tvrdi
I finally received my set of pedals. So here it is what I found out in a few days of using them: pros: - they are VERY precise..straight out of the box but I fine tuned them in IL2 GB so the response curve is less straight.. - not noisy at all...pedals are still new but they now included the heatshrink tube over the spring (so its silent) and the cam centering can barely be heard after I stiffened the spring (changed it to the farest position). Im still on default CAM profile, I like hard center. I needed stiffer spring because Im resting my feets on the pedals so no unattended inputs will occur. - they feel sturdy all metal and well built - very compact, suitable for "desktop" PC, no need for "cockpit" setup in the living room. Can be used with office chairs with wheels. cons (kinda): - not super comfortable like simpeds (cant tell about MFGs but even less comfortable for me is the feets on the pedals style like in MFGs, simpeds I moded so I rested my heels on the ground, I just shortened and switched over the foot plates). So im still getting used to up and down motion (I was get used to classic pedals). Also I like to sit with my knees widely open and in that position its kinda hard to rest feets on the metal bars, however in a position where Im closer to the pedals (chair closer to them) I can sit comfortably more or less. I hope this will improve. Its really a pitty they didnt include the adjusting feet rests/bars so we can make them in the wider position as we please (thought maybe some modding can be done, dunno about that). Also would be better if the feet rests are more like plates like the heel rests they included...would be more comfortable like than with bars....Im using slippers with all my pedals and its almost mandatory with the VKBs because of metal construction and tiny feet rests not suitable for "barefoot use". BTW, my pedals came with loosened bearing nut so the CAM was "dancing" all over the place and was noisy. But anyways I opened the pedals to increase the resistance and tighteneed that nut and now they are working perfect. Thats is all for now. I connected them directly into the Gladiator pro mk1 and it works no probs. Edited January 14, 2019 by Tvrdi
