Flamin_Squirrel
Sorry for yet another post... I have a strange issue in that when I first start my PC and check my stick's calibration, it has gone off: it registers full travel (X and Y) with only half deflection. Trying to recalibrate does not help. If I restart my PC and try again, I can successfully recalibrate and get proper range of motion. This isn't the most convenient arrangement though! Any ideas? Mars Exulte
I haven't had a chance to play with mine yet, but the greatest numbers of issues I've had with USB devices and having to reboot the computer/them came from power issues. Have you eliminated that as a potential variable? Making sure the USB doesn't power down in Windows Power Settings, making sure the USB "hub controller" doesn't power down in the Device Manager, and making sure you're using a powered USB port (or externally powered HUB OR a PCI extension) are good things to check, if you haven't already. If the above doesn't apply, my apologies. That's just what has caused 99% of my USB device headaches, especially with controllers. Flamin_Squirrel
A USB hub issue didn't even cross my mind, but I think you might be onto something. I've plugged the stick straight into the PC and I could immediately calibrate it properly. Hopefully that's done it. Thanks!
