Really, really nice ... I would never had a budget that allows me to build something like it, so I must revert to VR instead ... but, who knows, maybe someday :)

That looks awesome, great job.

 

Out of curiosity, what do you do when you fly an F18?

System: 9700, 64GB DDR4, 2070S, NVME2, Rift S, Jetseat, Thrustmaster F18 grip, VPC T50 stick base and throttle, CH Throttle, MFG crosswinds, custom button box, Logitech G502 and Marble mouse.

Server: i5 2500@3.9Ghz, 1080, 24GB DDR3, SSD.

Absolutely wonderful! This type of pit with controls is about the right place with the right shape works equally well for VR or conventional display. Of course it only works well with the Spitfire. But clearly that is what you love to fly.

 

My goal all along has been an F-4 Phantom bit of similar quality. While I could move forward with the F-4s available for FSX/P3d, I have been waiting for a DCS F-4. In the mean time, I have fallen in love with the F/A-18C. I am considering having two pits side-by-side.

Cheers Jocko. Left hand side trim, throttle , radio box.. control column and under carriage control unit are 3D printed..the rest is handmade by myself in at my work..front panel and most of the left hand side...I also reworked the saitek pedals in the workshop.
