DCS A-10C TM Warthog Script

Hello,

Is there a target Profile out there that is 100% realistic to the real A10C Warthog?

I do not want view commands and so forth on it and not savy enough to create one myself.

I tried loading with no script but the HOTAS Slew controls do not work in game.

Starting to get back into DCS now and need to reprogram everything.

I am sure I am repeating this question and for that I apologize.

I could not find the information I was looking for using the search tool.

TIA!

Nick

Hi Nick, I'm pretty sure the controls default to what they should be. The only thing you have to change is the hat switch on the joystick to trim. It has it set for panning views. I don't use Target and see no need to use it for the A-10 especially if you want to have it setup the way you say.

Don't run Target, load the game as normal, change the hat switch to trim and you are good to go.

Thanks for the response guys!

I did that exactly and everything works with the exception of the slew button.

I can slew in the HUD, or MFCD with the cursor.

It does not work regardless of the selected SOI.

You may have a hardware issue if that's still the case when you have disabled any target profile you are running.

Check in the windows control panel that the X/Y axes on the throttle are responding. If everything looks fine there, launch DCS and go to controls -> A-10C sim -> axis commands and check the HOTAS slew is bound to the throttle X/Y axes.

Thank you!

Got it all up and running. Luckily it was not a hardware issue.

The game controller test revealed both X & Y axis on the throttle were operational.

I had to set the AXIS in the game menu.

Thanks again! Glad to be back in the A-10C!
