Shrike88
Greetings. Just curious for future reference. Couldn't find if this was referred to previously and there is no information on the thread about DCS _updater. Is there a way to download our patches and updates to a separate drive, then patch/update to our install directory from that separate drive instead of using the main install directory with dcs updater ? Thanks Shrike
Home Fries
Downloading Updates to Separate Drive & Install I would be very interested in this as well, especially if I will be keeping 2x90GB installs on my SSD. Being able to download the update to a spinner will make it easier for storage and preserve the life of the SSD. -Home Fries My DCS Files and Skins My DCS TARGET Profile for Cougar or Warthog and MFDs F-14B LANTIRN Guide

Insonia
windows NTFS support /hard/symbol/junction link symbol link and junction link are able to cross different partition/HDD and even network. You can create a folder junction _download to somewhere else. It will redirect all IO under _download to your target location. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa363878(v=vs.85).aspx Link Shell Extension etc..
