Andre92
Hello, the L-39 is a beautiful plane to fly in DCS! However to my personal preference, the pitch trim is very sensitive. Is it possible to change this in any way? (I´m trimming using buttons on a Thrustmaster Cougar) Cheers, André Edited April 4, 2016 by Andre92
1.JaVA_Platypus
I take it you mean "sensitive" and not "sensible"? ;) No biggie... I don't think it can change. Other airplanes have trim on a button as well. It is just that you always seem to need the trim setting in between two button presses. I guess it is up to us to find the best throttle setting for the given weight and trimsetting (and weatherconditions) of the L-39. Having trim on a slider would be better of course, like in WWII aircraft. But this is not realistic for the L-39! Happy Flying! :pilotfly:
doodenkoff
It's a real feeling of satisfaction when you get power and pitch trim juuuuust right....and can take your hands off the controls for a bit. Andre92
ah yeah, sensitive is correct! :-) One thing i will try is programming key strokes to the buttons on my Cougar, instead of DX Buttons. Maybe this will give a different feel. Thanks, André
