I'm trying to make an F-16D mod for FC3 and i'm having a problem with all the new differences from FC2. For example i don't know where to declare the skins, in old FC2 format there was a .skins file in the "Shapes" folder. Also the .cdds seem to dissapear with the new FC3 format, also i'd like to know how to make a nonflyable to be flyable using existing cockpits. No Select Poly/Mesh in max, goto face sub group, select all the faces pf the part, go to smoothing section on the side panel, unpress all the number groups or.hit clear, then choose auto. Re export. I turn all the smoothing and normal adjustments in the exporter off.
