alt10k
Hello fellow Pilots, This is my first contribution to the forum. I discovered DCS some months ago. Since early days, I felt that some kind of home cockpit is a must with this great sim. I decided that solution should be aircraft indipendent multi cockpit that is also suitable for everyday PC usage. KA-50 is a first attempt. Lower frame material is mat black painted glued laminated timber board. MFD's are removable and backlit by IxxA RGB leds. Lower center screen has slightly modified Capt Zeen's Helios profile. Main screen is backlit by IxxA RGB led strips. All seems to be working as planned and I'm quite happy with this. A-10C will be next. MFD's can be moved on top of lower center screen and attached with velcro and openings covered with some kind of plates. Loz or Gadroc profiles needs heavier modification, I think... Only problems are DCS regular crashes during restart and poor fps but that is a different story and I'm sure ED is doing his best to fix those soonest. -alt10k Asus X99 Deluxe II|Intel i7 6850K @4.2GHz|G.Skill 64GB Trident Z DDR4 3200MHz|Noctua NH-D15 and 4x NF-A14 PWM|Corsair HX850i Win10 Pro 64 @M.2 512GB 950 PRO|DCS @M.2 250GB 960 EVO ASUS GTX 1070 STRIX OC 8GB GDDR5|ASUS PG348Q - LG 25UM58 @3440x2520 Corsair Strafe RGB MX Silent|TM Hotas Warthog 7.5cm ext & 3x MFD Cougars|MFG Crosswind|TrackIR 5 A-10C|AJS-37|AV-8B|BS2|F/A-18C|FC3|Mi-8MTV2|PG NE NO SY maps|Tacview. Knock-Knock
That looks very good  What monitor size are you running for the Helios, and how much is it tilted? Edit: Was blind first time around, and picked it out from your signature. Nice little monitors those Yea, 2.1 is quite buggy atm, and crashes a lot. 1.57 is a lot more stable, like 100:1. alt10k
Helios monitor is 1920x1080 and the tilt is 40deg. Just so that it is readable and main is not too high. It took 3 tests frames and the 4th was just right.
