cmeliak
Please put here your questions regarding modeling and so on ... should be more transparent. I'd like to as devs to make a sticky in modeling subforum regarding model requirements on the planes, vehicles, weapons and so on. We would like to have a simple and transparent overview. All the informations are divided somewhere in threads but it takes a lot of time for noobs (like me) to find it. thx in advanced. cmeliak
small tip: use some "raster to vector" converter on the blueprints .... to get dwg file. then import into your modeler and you can use dwg curves to build your models. it is very comfortable way to get contours ... cmeliak
raster to vector converter converts for example bitmap picture to dwg, it means you import into 3d studio curves already. .... 44th_Hitnrun
so how do we test these models in lockon? Is this possible?
Allochtoon
No, if ED releases the exporter / devkit they lose control over their product, which is not what i think they want.
bug2
No, if ED releases the exporter / devkit they lose control over their product, which is not what i think they want. YES and NO!!!! They could give us the export pluggin at least to test our 3D model in LO!!!! Nothing more like the various Mod that aready exist(F14, F18 or M2000...)!!!! But IMHO ED has to be the only one who build the Flight Model!!!! If they want, we also could sign a Non Disclosure Agreement.... CU Bug2
