spitfire

I was recently flying Spitfire in dcs

I just noticed that ram air handle next to throttle has no effect on boost level during flight

neither it reducing boost neither increasing. I gues that spitfire has ram box right ?? so direct intake should help with boost a little right am i right ?? Becouse when set to air filter operation it is some obstruction in the intake way

never modeled for Spitfire..

for Mustangs it works, it does not change maximal MP value, it change critical altitude, when filtered is selected, supercharger critical altitude is lowered
