FC3 Bug thread

Its current mechanisation is wrong. Please re visit this issue. All the documentation on this issue is in these threads:

 

Fuel tape has two modes, ie measured and calculated. Measured Mode only calculates and displays quantity in three internal tanks whilst Calculated mode takes into account fuel quantity of external tanks as well.

 

Mode that is modelled In-SIM is measured mode and is accordingly functioning as it should. Implementation of Calculated mode would be one for the Wish-List forum and not a bug report.

Viper another couple missing from your list.

 

MIG29 Command Airspeed in LDG mode way to low and naming Convention MIG29C or MIG29 S

SU27 Command Airspeed in Ldg mode slightly slow, and -- marks on SU27/33 HUD

Also noticed the small dashes on the HUD but in up right position.

For the IAS on final, firts make sure zto have exactly the same configuration (air T°, loadout, fuel remaining) to be able to make a goog comparision) for the IAS on the HUD is only the prescribed speed @ touchdown (V POS) that is conputed in accordance with above parameters. Russain pilots do not use a constant VRF to fly the final track. The speed constantly decrease by 10km/h per km flown on final to meet the Vpos at touchdown.

System Configuration: Windows 10 64bits, Intel I5-3570K, 8Go DDR3-1333Mhz, GeForce GTX 560Ti LE

Does anyone have issues with clouds when mirrors are used? I have tried single screen with mirrors on and off and triple screen with mirrors on and off and I can replicate the issue every time if I turn mirrors on.

 

Issue I have is, with mirrors turned on and single screen the clouds textures are rotating as I turn my head/viewpoint... with mirrors off clouds are fine

 

With triple screen again with mirrors on clouds are buggy again and this time even worse... the cloud texture don't only rotate but they also somehow rotate and disappear (looks like vertical blinds on windows being opened)... and again with mirrors off the clouds are fine.

 

If need be I can make short video, but if issue is known I will skip this step.

 

PS: I didn't have this issue in any release before FC3 BETA and 1.2.2

Having issues adjusting altimeter pressure setting in the F-15. Anyone report that?

 

Nature of the issue, Speck? Unable to adjust at all? Adjusts partially?

Standard weather? Specific airframe or all of them?

 

I tried now with standard and a Mig29 and all was well - could not replicate. It is a later version so it might have been sorted in the interim.

 

Can anybody else verify/anybody else seeing the behavior?

 

If not too much issue, a short vid might be in order, Kuky, just to make 100% sure the issue does not fall through the cracks.

It's in standard weather... and in every cockpit now. I haven't installed A-10C, Ka-50 or P-51D yet so didn't try them but I get same thing in MiG in Su-27, in A-10A and in Su-25T and I didn't have this before when I was using Su-25T only in DCS World 1.2.1 so it's definitely something new that came in 1.2.2

 

I've recorded with FRAPS using triple screen setup but I'm now having issues putting it on youtube, I'll have to upload it tomorrow evening (1am here now and I really have to go to bed)

No longer active in DCS...

Su-30 has the RF probe still does not refuel. Its bug in long time and if FC3 is last of its kind this is the time to fix it.

Vipes I noticed a couple of bugs with the default SU-25A.

 

Compared to FC2 the chaff and flares are reduced from 128 to 64 in DCSW 1.2.2

 

Also Whenever you zoom out the view in whatever skin you are , the Airbrake Plyons keep defaulting to the Russian SU-25 1st skin and the bort numbers become an outline.

I don't think you'll see the cobra making a come back due to SFM limitations, but we'll give it a try.

Have a sneaky suspicion it's true to the real bird (2 canisters as opposed to the 4 on the T) but I'll verify and let you know.
