NATO in the groove Russian riding the bow on your approach. Theres a good mig-29K in cockpit vid out there also. LSO is actually a Luna optical 3, The lights you see on the left of the deck on approach.

Riding the bow (I THINK) I could be wrong something to do with the HSI needles looking like a bow (Or upside down one) Ill try and find out more on that.

 

The Luna system does not have a ball (Like nato) Its electronic system so not manned by a LSO, So the 2 red lights mean crash or wave off, Yellow to high or overshoot and green is on point (NOT 3 wire like nato) Your actually aiming for a 2 wire. Green outer lights are called Datum lights.
