wh1pple
Hey all, A bit off topic, but does anyone have a digital file of the FOA camouflage pattern on the Viggen (specifically a large "swatch" of it)? I pulled the one off of Wikipedia, but there isn't enough pattern available to effectively use it for the project I'm doing. Currently, it looks awkward trying to stitch that smaller sample together several times. Thanks!
Marsvinet
I had no experience creating camos, but the FOA camo is very newbie friendly to create, considering I was able to create this. I just used the line marking tool in GIMP and experimented a little bit. As long as you have the "rules" of the camo you can create something that is extremely close to the real deal. Plus, when you start to stitch together the same piece over and over again, it will start to look weird as you've noticed. Try it.
doedkoett
Maybe this can be of assistance: http://www.ipmsstockholm.se/home/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Anv-m%C3%B6nster.pdf It´s not what you are after, maybe, but it was what you would have been given as a guide, should you have had to paint anything in that pattern in military service. wh1pple
Thanks for the inputs guys. I'll look more into building it then. Didn't realize it was as simple a pattern to 'recreate'. Kinda explains why there's not a mass pattern then.
