mrkline
When cold starting in multiplayer, the RIO cockpit shows the wings fully extended. When the pilot sweeps them forward, they bounce around before finally syncing: Edited April 1, 2019 by IronMike
Madbrood
Haven't seen this in around 3-4 hours of multiplayer testing yesterday. Muppetlord
Flew with one of the HB guys yesterday. He said it would sync after you took the wings out of oversweep. Apparently something on EDs end IIRC.
Airhunter
Yeah there are a couple issues when a person re-connects as RIO mid preflight or mid fight.
mrkline
My pilot and I joined a cold start spot within seconds of each other and both had great pings, so I don't think those were factors.
Strikeeagle345
it's and ED issue. Just like the exhaust nozzles not matching each other. mrkline
When both players spawn in the cat, the pilot sees the wings back in oversweep, as they're supposed to be on a cold start. At the same time, the RIO sees the wings swept all the way forward. Once the pilot starts manipulating the wing sweep handle and the wings begin moving, the RIO sees the wings teleport back and forth before his view syncs up to what the pilot is seeing a few seconds later. Watch the video! Unless you're suggesting that improper startup can cause your wings to enter some Schrödinger's paradox where they are both swept and unswept, I'm going to chalk this up to a netcode issue, not bad procedures. viper2097
Seems to be still an issue: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4039062#post4039062 Any news on that HB? lunaticfringe
Why are you linking to a thread on a server/client spawn regarding static aircraft- one that is visible to any client aircraft occupied on the carrier deck, as though it's related to the wing sweep desync? These two issues are unrelated, and the former isn't HBs purview.
viper2097
Correcr, another bug, but I realized that this issue is stills present. Check the attached doublescreenshot in the first post. The left side is taken by the rio and wingsre at 28°. The right one is taken by the pilot and the wings are overswept. IronMike
basically it is desynced for the RIO. The pilots needs to cycle either of any of the flight surfaces (flaps, wingsweep, speedbrake), and then it syncs. We haven't found a workaround for this yet.
