Would like at least some new screenshots of the I-16. I'm really hyped for the first Soviet WWII aircraft to DCS.

His last post mentioned this:

From what Google Translate says, it's already been finished and is waiting on ED?

Is that actually a mod, or an official module?

Its an official Module, and it seems to be very near completion :) ... hope the community gives it a chance in spite of not having more aircrafts of the same era.

seems a kind of out of the blue sort of Russian aircraft to choose to develop given it went into service pre ww2 and used early on in the war, as it was already very obsolete towards anything the luftwaffe already had pre Barbarossa at the very start of ww2.

I was expecting to see to choose more appropriate 1940s era designs and truly iconic ww2 birds for USSR such as the Il2 sturmovik for the attack role, and for fighters/interceptors perhaps of the yak and/ or LA series, especially given the planes we have from other nations.

L16 would already get slaughtered by 1941 era planes available by the start of operation Barbarossa never mind the 1944-45 era war birds we have now.

This screenshot of the NS430 shows settings for the I-16 (and also the C-101CC) ... so I assume that these two Modules are near completion :)
