Pls Help Me Install DCS 1.5 on Win10

Please help me.

My PC hardware is quite old, and cannot run DCS 2.5

I want to install DCS 1.5 which runs at decent framerates.

My Pc specs:

Win10 Pro Version 1809

Processor : Intel i7-2600 @3.40GHz

8GB RAM

AMD Radeon HD 6900

80Gb HDD just for DCS.

I downloaded DCS_World_1.5.8_web, and ran the installer.

I'm not installing the game from Steam.

The installer completed and downloaded the game, +-30GB in size.

When I launch the game, I get this screen-

Then I found this thread about editing the options.lua file.

Which explains to edit autologin from true to false.

find the section "miscellaneous"] =

then the value:

change true to false

save options.lua file and run DCS “

After making that change, I launch DCS 1.5 again.

It prompts me to login.

I put in my credentials, and then I'm back here-

I then decided to attempt to force the updater, to update to a specific version.

Via command prompt-

It prompts for login again, and the I'm back at- [dcs.log-20200404-084254.zip]

So where to from here?

Does DCS 1.5 work in Win10?

Once I manage to launch the game, will I be able to install Modules? [i have a few]
